The next Assembly of IASSIDD, which will be held during the World Congress in Glasgow August 2019, will see the election of a President-elect, a Secretary, and a Treasurer for the period 2020-2022. This is the first and final call for Nominations for these three positions. We encourage individuals who are committed to and experienced in IASSIDD affairs to put themselves forward for one or more of the positions.
All three officers are members of the Council and Executive of IASSIDD. Serving as an officer involves attending three meetings a year (one Council meeting and two Executive meetings).
The President-elect will chair the Programme Committee for the 2022 World Congress in Chicago and take responsibility for all aspects of the World Congress organization. Other activities will arise from the developmental agenda of the Association. The President-elect will become President of IASSIDD for the 2022-2024 term, conditional on the support of the Assembly.
The Secretary plans meetings, writes minutes, and oversees the work of the secretariat by being a contact person towards Conference Design (the supplier of secretariat services).
The Treasurer manages the financial affairs of the Association with the guidance of our accountant and the Finance Committee.
